Might as well buy the chply made made stuff for h…

Might as well buy the cheaply made corsets on Shein and pay the cheap priced they worth. Made in China for Chinese sizes and their size is not for Americans so save your hard earned money! I'm so not happy with this purchase and will never go back to this store.

Update: I got your reply and you must out of your mine if you going to lie to others about this review and me not being a verified as a customer. You will be sorry when I show my receipt to prove it and don't send me emails about writing you a review when you are selling cheaply made stuff for a high price. So you're the fraud here and I hope the e-commerce brigade bring you down for your mediocre crap and your crass scheme. Nobody got time to be going through back and forth and sending your mediocre crap back which I'm pretty sure you will not give me my cash back that was taken from my card. I'm sure your scheme is the store credit BS. I didn't pay with store credit so if you're going to be silly and talk crap I can go even further and post a screenshot of your reply on Google review and you know how good Google is for that. So refrain from replying BS and own up to your scheme so your reply don't end up on Google review with just one click.

By the way it's spell "low lives" not lowlifes.

You're not smart because if you were, you would let your attorney speak for you just like I will let my attorney speak on my behalf when I gotta go to court. Your way of coming at a customer who paid you money for your peasantry BS is wrong and you will regret it and I can make Google and my attorneys work their magic for me easily so don't even go there pal!

This customer never contacted us about their concerns, but it doesn't matter because this latest fraudulent ambush review fits the ongoing pattern, from the same geographic area, currently being used by so-called competitors and other bottom-feeders such as "online reputation repair" scammers.

The competitors' angle is pretty simple: for the low low cost of a single item you can damage your competitors' reputations online. As for the reputation scammers, their little game is kind of like the old-school mafia protection scheme where they harm you or your property and them demand payment for protection -- from them.

How can we be so sure this is what's going on? Well, think about it: if you are dissatisfied with a purchase, what do you do? You contact the company for a replacement or refund, right? Not this customer. They simply signed up for TrustPilot (this is their first TP review btw), and blasted us with a libelous 1-star review. It just doesn't pass the smell test. Besides, it's not that hard to do a little googling and connect people to other brands and people, you know?

For chrissake, if you're going to be a scammer, at least be a smart one.

We have been dealing with this nonsense for well over a year now, and have been dutifully keeping records for pending litigation against these unintelligent lowlifes. The very best one so far was when a fraud-protection person with ties to a competing clothing brand, did a chargeback for -- get this -- fraud, and of course the credit-card company sided with them and they got away with stealing hundreds of dollars from us. Ah, good times.

So, "sevensecondsaway," thanks for the money and we wish you luck with your future scams.

Update to the customer's update: Anyone with the reading comprehension of a 4th-grader can clearly see that we never said that this wasn't a verified customer. Furthermore, we didn't send the customer an email, TrustPilot did. Lastly, we'd love to meet the "e-commerce brigade," they sound fun.

2nd update to customer's 2nd update: Uh oh, we're going to be sorry when you show us the receipt for the purchase that we never said you didn't make. Also congratulations for being so busy that you can't be bothered to get a refund, which we would have given you, like we've always done. Please do go ahead and post screenshots all over the web, we love free publicity! Finally (until you post another update), we LOVE attorneys and look forward to your frivolous lawsuit! Oh, and P.S.: "lowlifes" and "lowlives" are both correct, "pal."

Love in a Lovely Corset

I am truly enamored with my new corset!! It looks exactly like the image on the site (having been burned by knockoffs, this was so appreciated) and it feels great. Dan at Black Ravens was super supportive and responsive when I had questions, and our exchange was cordial and funny (no really, I snorted out loud at the jokes). My experience was so positive, I’ve been sharing this website with everyone I know. Not only did the fit and look of the product make me happy, it made the “experience” I had planned for it truly memorable. Thank you, Dan. Keep those black wings flying high!

Decent store, love the layout easy to navigate and plenty of products.

Bought a few birthday gifts from the Accessory store and they've gone over very well.

Would love to see a bit more diversity in the mens hoodie section though, I'm a fan of zip ups!

I never received the 2nd corset in my…

I never received the 2nd corset in my order. Not to mention that the sizing is not accurate at all. Who are you outfitting? Women in the 1800s???

I attempted to contact and never got a response. I returned the one of the wrong size and never received any response to that either. I was not ambushing. Simply stating my OPINION. That is what a review is... an opinion. As far as not receiving any further refunds, whatever. I am not concerned about that. I can now add that, IN MY OPINION, the response received, I do not see any sort of professionalism in handling this matter. No further business will ever be conducted with the company.

This 2-star ambush review is the first we've heard of this corset not being delivered. Customer never contacted us first to resolve this. Customer has now been refunded for the item which was not received. As for any sizing issues, our return policy is for 7 days after receipt of the item(s). Customer never contacted us about sizing issues, and it has been long past 7 days. Sadly, given the customer's chosen tactics, any hope for further refunds (which we would have possibly considered) is long gone since we don't negotiate with terrorists.

EDIT: Customer never contacted us about anything, nor did she return anything. If she can provide us with copies/screenshots of emails sent to us and tracking then we will gladly update this response to reflect that. As for our supposed lack of professionalism, well, if refunding people the instant we find out that there is a legitimate problem is unprofessional, then yes, we are unprofessional af.

Sizing is completely wrong

Sizing is completely wrong. I was sent the wrong original size plus it didn't fit. Contacted customer service and they blamed me not being able to read a size chart. Plus the necklace I ordered looks nothing like the item I ordered online. Terrible experience. I will never order again.

If I could give these crooks 0 stars I would, inferior products, shipping took forever to receive my order, customer service was horrible and their restock fee combined with the cost of shipping products back make it a waste to even bother trying to get your money back. I'd never do business with these crooks again!

You received the items on the 25th! (We have USPS confirmation).
2 days delivery time is, as we know, quite fast delivery.
We have a size chart on all of our products pages that explain exactly how to measure the correct size.
Once you told us that the size you ordered wasn't a good fit and that you wish to exchange it, we were glad to assist you and we just asked you to send it back to us (a domestic delivery) so we can send you new items free of charge!
We operate for almost a year now, and we have thousand of happy customers. we always try to make our customers happy and we always try to make sure it can happen.
Calling us crooks is offensive and misjudging and far from being correct.

Shipping took a very long time as the product came from china which answers a lot. It was very tiny and the material was very poor quality I ordered a swimsuit which I can not wear it is super small and very see through when wet due to thin bad material

What I paid for vs what i got.

Bought a corset from them for my SOs birthday.
Customer service was prompt and gave me a return when I asked, though this could be because i threatened them with a chargeback. Product was not as described and the list of issues is as follows, minus the pictures:
• shoulder straps so long they are useless
• shape is not as depicted in product photos
• product design is effectively a cheap low quality reproduction of what is represented in the product images
• none of the eyelets are the correct size or spacing (minor but I’m mentioning it)
• the lace at the top is straight up not the same as the picture
• side chains also not as depicted, thickness or design
• extra unknown item on the side, not mentioned in images or product description, and I severely hope this isn’t supposed to be some kind of undergarment because if so I’m 100% sure it runs afoul of manufacturing requirements for woman’s underwear in the US, among other issues
• most importantly the item is claimed to be spandex and fake leather, the tag states it is 10% spandex and 90% polyester(which is NOT fake leather)
• claims to be a shape trainer, defiantly not as there is no shape to this product.
10/10 feels like the original company was going under and some conglomerate bought them and are now peddling knock offs of the origin product. 0/5 don’t ever buy from them.

Wow. A lot to unpack here, but here goes: Having been scammed recently by a cluster of orders from this customer's geographic area (chargebacks, "didn't receive it," suspicious "damage" to the product, etc), my spidey-sense went off and I almost rejected the order, but since the system didn't flag it as fraudulent I held my nose and processed it anyway. Next time I will trust my gut.

Here are the facts from my end:
* Corset was not physically in stock and was dropshipped, thus I never saw the product. Had I seen it I of course would have never sent it, but it is what it is and it's on me as the owner.
* Customer emails me rudely and combatively expressing dissatisfaction
* I ask for pics, pics do in fact show a poor quality product
* I immediately refund in full
* I remove the product for sale from the store, likely for good

While customers are encouraged to leave reviews about their experiences, good or bad, I take exception with reviews like this which border on defamatory and are filled with baseless speculation that seems to serve no purpose other than to cast aspersions on my company, and for what reason? Who knows, but here are my responses to some of the specific nonsense in this review:

No, you got a refund because the product was of poor quality. Your needless threats had nothing to do with it.

As I said, the item was dropshipped and again, while I take full responsibility as the owner, I don't know what this "extra item" is. That said, "J.E.," since you are "100% sure" I demand that you immediately report my company to any and all authorities in the United States who have jurisdiction over "manufacturing requirements for woman’s underwear in the US" and detail to them how this item "runs afoul" -- and oh, don't forget to detail the "other issues." I will cooperate fully with your complaints and any investigations that arise from them. If you are not willing to do this, I kindly ask that you tone down this part of your review to be more factual and less speculative and defamatory. Something like "unknown extra item" or similar will do.

I'm flattered that you think I'm a "conglomerate." As for "peddling knock offs," well, again, please report my company to the "authorities" and be sure to show them the "origin product." I don't make the products, I source them from suppliers and resell them. If they are counterfeit then I certainly would like to know so I don't buy/sell them.

Lastly "0/5 don’t ever buy from them" -- on this we agree. If you are a customer like this one, who instead of simply saying that you are dissatisfied with the product, sends multiple rambling, venomous diatribes with threats right out of the gate then yes, for the love of all that is holy, do not ever buy from my company because I definitely do not want your business.

Had this customer approached this differently, they would have not only gotten a full refund but a replacement item and/or store credit since this product has been purchased multiple times by other customers with no issue, and I am embarrassed that he received what he did.

Bottom line, there's no need to be a jerk up front. Stuff happens.
