There were surely plenty of them! I loved a fashion project that contained outfits made of different types of plastic foils. I absolutely enjoyed also with my long-time favorite photographer in Lausanne, Switzerland - work with him is always extremely mind-bending and visionary. Recently I was also part of an exquisite Ukrainian photo meeting in a charming palace - I will keep the memory of that day for a long time. Fashion projects are usually my favorites - they give me a lot of space for creative posing and styling.
I tend to say: if you wanna have time, you will have time. I'm a well organized person. And creative work is something that keeps me breathing. I can't imagine my life without it. It was an easy choice for me, not a duty. It's always easier to find time for something you love. And I love my work.
At the beginning it was logistics. Traveling alone to many places for model jobs requires good orientation. Dealing with all schedules, bookings, itineraries was pretty challenging, but I got used to it. What I consider a constant challenge is how to deal with lack of sleep, how to be able to get some rest between shootings, travels.
I have been singing since I can remember, ever since I started articulating sounds. I come from a musical family, so it was a very natural, very expected direction. First it was home learning and music academy, and when the time was right, STRIDULUM was born. Now this machine called music is pretty accelerated and it feels like nothing can stop it. Besides constant work in STRIDULUM, there are plenty of other projects and initiatives. Inspirations come from every part of my universe. All I see, hear and sense. Basically mostly the dark side of my realm, but not only.
I think my Slavic descent is pretty crucial here and determines to a large degree my sense of aesthetics and my sensitivity. I wouldn't be the same person without my Slavic background. I deeply feel the spirit of Eastern Europe and I'm sure it manifests itself a bit through my creative work.
It's always a feeling when my work is appreciated. When I work with heartfelt, kind, creative people. When I see my face on the cover of a magazine. When my new album comes out and I say to myself "I did it again". In such moments I feel it's all worth it.
I enjoy spending time in nature the most, far from civilization. Also a good book, a good movie, some Xbox gaming, workouts at the gym, visiting my family. I don't have much free time though.
It always was and always will be my mother. Someone who always supports every aspect of my creativity. I can say a lot about it, but words can't describe my gratefulness for the vastness of love, care and support I get from my close family. I have a truly amazing mother, father and brother.
I always enjoy working with Slavic people the most - maybe because of common ground, but I personally think it goes even deeper. I love talent, diversity and ability to work even in difficult circumstances. But of course, I enjoy working in other places too. I always bring home beautiful pictures and memories from really many places.
To be honest, it has never been that much in front of me and it all feels very exciting. There are new fascinating model jobs on the horizon and lots of new sounds flowing in my welkin. Musically it's a very rich period as all new projects I was working on during the last few months are slowly about to be released.
If they say you can't, do exactly the opposite. Be stubborn and confident, but also kind and respectful.
