In her return to The Black Ravens, Sofya Bless steps forward with a renewed sense of purpose and depth. Her perspective has shifted — away from outward validation and toward a grounded awareness of self. In this reflective conversation, she opens up about stillness as strength, the quiet power of gratitude, and how aligning inner clarity with creative expression has transformed both her art and her life.
I rethought my path and my life goals. This understanding made me aware of the illusory actions I had been taking toward the world and myself. The way I used to live no longer suits me.
Stopping the dispersion of my energy in the wrong direction and channeling it toward awareness of my global goals and understanding of the world was the best decision.
It’s about self-worth. It’s about listening to your soul instead of forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to. If a person feels a genuine inner response to an activity, hobby, or action — that means they are on the right path to themselves.
I realized that my previous photo shoots were nothing more than a nonconstructive source of temporary fulfillment. Now I’ve changed the style of my Instagram and overall create slightly different looks for myself, ones that fit my personality type.
What’s inside is reflected outside. When your inner self-understanding and self-assessment become objective, you no longer feel the need to prove anything to anyone — because external validation isn’t necessary.
Now my images and photo sessions are ways to fill myself from within and bring to life the ideas that come to me. I genuinely enjoy doing it.
I believe it’s about one’s inner values and vision of their path — everyone has their own.
It’s a person’s ability to ask global, large-scale questions about the meaning of life and values, and to integrate that understanding into daily activity. It’s about harmony — the alignment of the inner and outer worlds.
Silence. Purity of space. You need to clear away external noise and people who live on low vibrations. Surround yourself with those who uplift you. Remove the informational noise that clouds the mind.
Many people are afraid of silence, but truth lives there. In silence, you begin to understand yourself better, and answers come naturally.
Gratitude is the key to everything — it’s a universal law.
Mindfulness helps me accept situations that I would’ve reacted to differently before. I’m grateful for what happens to me, because it’s all part of my experience — where I learn and understand new things.
In creativity, this manifests as an inner response. These bright emotions that arise in the process show that I’m doing things right. That’s mindfulness too — tracking your internal state and, if something feels off, simply changing direction.
I believe they’re parts of one whole — like black and white, like day and night. They complement each other and cannot exist without one another.
External beauty is superficial. It’s much better to be beautiful in soul and within.
I want to create — because I put energy into what I write in my posts and on my channel. I want people to receive something from it; maybe my words will touch someone — and that’s wonderful.
As for photography, I also take pictures when I feel inspired or have a calling from my soul. Through photos, I transmit energy too — and people feel it.
I would like to be a spiritual mentor for people because helping others truly fulfills me — and I have things to share.
Every day I learn and read something new, I keep growing, and I would love to pass that experience on to others.
